About me
Ivy Davis is a dedicated art educator and community arts advocate with over 15 years of
experience. She holds a dual degree in Marketing and Business Management with a minor in
Art from the University of West Georgia. Her global journey includes a year spent studying
African textile and fashion design at a prestigious fashion institute in Accra, Ghana. Yet, her true
passion lies in the classroom, which led her to earn her Master of Arts in Teaching in Art
Education from Tufts University.
For nearly a decade, Ivy has served as the community arts liaison at the Museum of Fine Arts,
Boston, where she connects youth from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester to meaningful
museum experiences. As a Boston Public School teacher, Ivy empowers young people to use
art as a tool for self-expression and social change, while reminding adults of the transformative
power of creativity.
Through her company, Eye Dezign Creative Arts Co., Ivy and her staff bring art programming to
underserved schools and communities, teach dynamic workshops to corporate gatherings, and
become the life of the party at events with face painting, body art, and interactive art activities.
Ivy’s mission is to make art accessible, empowering the next generation and keeping creativity
alive for all.
